História – History:

Nascido em Recife/PE, em maio de 1961, dedicou-se à arte a partir de 1988, inicialmente como autodidata, com um trabalho em óleo sobre tela elaborado de forma intuitiva e por orientação extraída de publicações sobre técnicas de trabalho artesanais. Esse era um trabalho despretensioso, feito como passatempo. Incentivado por amigos, procurou orientação técnica, iniciando, em 1991, cursos de desenho e pintura. A partir daí, participou de exposições coletivas e individuais, firmando-se como paisagista, tendo como tema central: praias, pontes e portos. Em 1996, em parceria com a Artista Plástica Anavaz, fundou a primeira galeria virtual do Recife, a Arteforte Virtual Gallery, reunindo nomes de artistas renomados, como a própria Anavaz, além de Francisco Brennand, Gilvan Samico, Aída, Lenita Costa, dentre outros. Agora volta a expor seus novos trabalhos neste site, possibilitando ao cliente a comodidade de aquisição de obras diretamente do artista.

Born in Recife/PE, a city located in the Northeast of Brazil, in May 1961, he dedicated himself to art from 1988 onwards, initially as a self-taught artist, with a work in oil on canvas prepared in an intuitive way and with guidance extracted from publications on craft work techniques. This was unpretentious work, done as a hobby. Encouraged by friends, he sought technical guidance, starting, in 1991, drawing and painting courses. From then on, he participated in collective and individual exhibitions, establishing himself as a landscaper, with the central theme: beaches, bridges and ports. In 1996, in partnership with Artista Plástica Anavaz, he founded the first virtual gallery in Recife, the Arteforte Virtual Gallery, bringing together the names of renowned artists, such as Anavaz itself, in addition to Francisco Brennand, Gilvan Samico, Aída, Lenita Costa, among others. . Now he returns to exhibit his new works on this site, allowing the customer the convenience of acquiring works directly from the artist.

Abordagem Artística – Artistic approach and Painting Style:

Essencialmente paisagista, firmou-se com um trabalho que procura entender e interpretar as cenas cotidianas, utilizando principalmente as técnicas de pintura a óleo, acrílica, aquarela e gravura. Sua visão e sua interpretação da realidade buscam a beleza escondida em cenas que em princípio poderiam parecer simples ao olhar das pessoas, mas, quando trazidas à tela, ganham uma vida especial. O tema principal de seu trabalho até aqui tem sido as águas de praias  e rios de seu país, barcos e pontes. Entende que a arte é múltipla, porque uma mesma obra pode transmitir sensações diferentes a cada espectador. Experimenta uma grande realização pessoal quando um trabalho seu consegue emocionar as pessoas, tocar suas almas.

Essentially a landscaper, he established himself with a work that seeks to understand and interpret everyday scenes, using mainly the techniques of oil painting, acrylic, watercolor and engraving. His vision and interpretation of reality seek the hidden beauty in scenes that at first might seem simple to people’s eyes, but, when brought to the screen, take on a special life. The main theme of his work so far has been the waters of beaches and rivers in his country, boats and bridges. He understands that art is multiple, because the same work can convey different sensations to each spectator. He experiences great personal fulfillment when his work is able to move people, touch their souls.
